Serina González

Serina supports the offices under Enrollment Services and Student Affairs by organizing and implementing necessary communication to students. Beginning at the inquiry stage of the enrollment process, Serina engages students through digital communication such as, tailoring welcome emails and emailing promotional flyers.

Serina, a first-generation college student, began her communications career five years ago as a social media intern. She discovered her interest in higher education communication while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication. Following her undergraduate degree, Serina pursued a Master's Certification in School Public Relations. She served as an event coordinator for Rowan University and Rutgers University before joining HCCC. Now, she is working toward completing her Master's degree in Integrated Media Communication in 2025.
