El Colegio Comunitario del Condado de Hudson anuncia la expansión de la Beca de Oportunidad de Colegio Comunitario

Los estudiantes actuales y futuros ahora pueden solicitar premios financieros para el semestre de otoño de 2019.

 

7 de agosto de 2019, Jersey City, NJ – El Dr. Chris Reber, presidente de Hudson County Community College (HCCC), anunció que la universidad continuará ofreciendo educación gratuita a estudiantes calificados a través de New Jersey Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG).

The CCOG program provides students with the opportunity to attend community college tuition free. For the 2019-20 school year, the family income eligibility limit has been increased, making the grant available to more students in Hudson County. Students with adjusted gross household incomes of up to $65,000, who take six or more credits during the 2019-20 academic year, are eligible to receive CCOG awards for tuition and educational fees after applying other federal or state grant aid they receive.

 

“Thousands of HCCC students balance college with full-time employment, full-time studies, and caring for their families. This program will enable students to achieve their higher education goals while managing other important priorities,” Dr. Reber said.

Hudson County Community College tiene uno de los más completos Financial Aid programas en Nueva Jersey, con el 83 por ciento de los estudiantes de HCCC recibiendo asistencia. Aún así, hay una gran población en el condado de Hudson que necesita asistencia para la matrícula.
